Born and raised in Germany, I first came to Canada in 2004 and instantly fell in love with the country, its people and the opportunities here. I have been calling BC home ever since and would not want it any other way. I have a degree in translation studies for English and Spanish (Diplom Übersetzerin, Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg) and have worked in a variety of other jobs: from volunteering with a human rights organization in Ecuador to picking cherries in the Okanagan to driving the Zamboni at the local ice rink, there is not much in between that I have not tried.
After four years of frustration, my own permanent residence was finally approved in 2010. Ever since then I have been interested in the process. I enjoy listening to people's stories, experiences and hopes to move to Canada and find a way to make these hopes become reality. In 2017, I decided to go back to school to become a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), which has been a very exciting career change. I am able to combine my life experiences and education with my knowledge of the Canadian immigration system to help you reach your goal to come to Canada, be it temporarily or permanently.
I will spend time to get to know you and find out how I can best help you get what you want. Our collaboration will generally start with a one hour consultation, which can be done in person, on the phone or most VoIP services (Skype, What's App...).
Afterwards I will offer you a roadmap outlining the steps that we need to take to get the visa or permit you are looking for. We will discuss fees and timelines and determine how to best work together moving forward.
You may decide that you want to navigate the immigration system on your own after this and our cooperation will end here.
If you want your application to be professionally done by someone in the industry you can retain me for full representation and I will ensure that we will submit the best possible application for permanent or temporary residence that is right for you.
Whichever way we end up working together I am committed to offering you the service that best works for you.
I graduated with a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and became a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC). I have been a member in good standing with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council since October 2018.
Being a new graduate I have the most current and up to date information and a thorough understanding of the Canadian immigration system and am working together with a network of authorized representatives to keep my knowledge current and up to date.
I am passionate about Canada and particularly BC. I have picked up skiing, ice hockey and mountain biking since moving here and I love sharing my passion for this country.
I have been there! My immigration process took over 4 years and was one of the most frustrating times of my life. I did not find the help that I needed and I want you to have a better experience to get to where you want to be as soon as possible.
